As always the “Mom’s Choice Awards” people were great and helped me navigate my way around. Joe and Butch had quite the battle of wills while I was gone. Listen in to Joe’s take on the pet sitting experience. We missed Dr. Patrick this week as we had a mixup in our time zones but he will be back next week to discuss the pet sitting topic. Dr. Donna Spector of HALO is in process of moving her family to Chicago so she is taking a break for a couple weeks to get things taken care of on the home front!

Anyway I wanted thank everyone that came out to the BEA this weekend at the Javits Ctr. in New York City! It was great to talk to you and hear some of the interesting “Tails” about your furry animal kids. I admit that I really enjoy all of the book signings I do but I really have to say that this was one of the best experiences that I have had. Representing the Mom’s Choice Awards, spending the last couple of days as an award winning author, and meeting all of the other Mom’s Choice Award winners was a truely a humbling experience.

I am very grateful for all of those who helped me make it throught the weekend and kept my schedule moving forward smoothly!

Well, there will be more later on my trip to the Big Apple. Heading back to Ohio tomorrow morning, so from the 37th floor of the New Yorker Hotel in the heart of New York City, this is Jeff Saying good bye and see you when I get there!

It’s been quite the rollercoaster ride the last few weeks. Dad is doing much better now and at 85, after 2 emergency surgeries last week, is now in physical therapy. He is much healthier than most people his age so we are thankful that he was strong enough to withstand a difficult time. Thanks to everyone who has been concerned and have sent along their well wishes and prayers for him as it appears that they have worked well and he will be back to his normal routine in a couple of weeks!

She gives tips on how to minimize the possibility of your dog biting someone, even if your dog is not prone to this behavior there are situations that can cause them to bite! She also talks about traveling with your pet and introduces us to a new airline that caters specifically to pets!
