National Geographic Presents “The Lady With 700 Cats” on Nat Geo Wild. Lynea Lattanzio owner of the “Cat House on the Kings” was not allowed to have a kitten when she was a child…well today she ownes California’s largest no-kill, no-cage, lifetime sanctuary for cats and has saved over 18000 cats (and 5000 dogs) and she joins Jeff to talk about the show and how things are going! Jeff, being a history hobbiest gives a few facts that we bet you did not know about the most popular pet in America. Dr. Patrick Mahaney our vet to the stars in Hollywood stops in to get caught up and talk alittle about the heat wave and some precautions…and did you see the article in the PARADE magazine about Cats vs Dogs and which pet has the “upper paw?” Well Jeff disects the article and gives his commentary. Fatality rate among pets in flight has risen drastically over the last two years.

This week – Kentucky Derby Interviews! Bruce Zoldan owner of Fireworks.com, Phantom Fireworks and part of Team Valor International joins us to talk about his winning Kentucky Derby Horse “Animal Kingdom” and what it means for him to be a first time winner after more than 20 years as a fan and 10 years as an owner. We also talk about the last minute change in jockeys due to their normal jockey being injured just days before the race. Jeff goes into some detail on what he observed not only from the press box but also away from the record crowd of 165000 in the “backside” barn area. Jeff was also on the Red Carpet for the “Mint Jubilee” on Friday and on Saturday for the derby and got a few quick words from some celebs.
