“There are more astronauts in the world than there are trainers with Joel Silverman’s experience!” This was the quote of the show and it’s true! Don’t think so? How many animal trainers do you know that have trained a killer whale? Well, I now know one and you can get to know him too on this week’s show. Joel is a great guy traveling the country with his dog Foster promoting his new book “What Color is Your Dog?” Joel is talking about your dogs temprement not his coat. Joel brings to light some interesting facts about how your dog behaves and how his training techniques are different from most other trainers.

Dr. Helen Fazio & Raja in Paris!Our good freind Dr. Helen Fazio joined us to catch up a bit and talk about cooking for traveling companion Raja her Shi-tzu. He is 13 years old now and she has been cooking for him for many years. She shares a recipe with us and also some other types of ingredients that she sometimes uses in foods. If you want to know how to cook for your pet, listen to those that have been doing it a long time! Helen and Raja have a great web site and she sometimes posts various recipes that you can try to cook for your pet. I like to cruise around the site to see what she has been up to.
